The first in a sequence of two senior thesis studios, narrative and storytelling was explored using words, sounds, time, and images. Skills on how to see, think, communicate, and the process of gathering and organizing information through print and video were applied to the development of the final products.

Titled Swift Cut, the narrative explores the memory of I as a freshman year college student. The story of how a teacher cut my finger during the process of carving a stone is told visually through the use of abstract imagery and type placement.
